Audition at Essaro Ranch Studios
If you live or will be in the San Antonio area, we accept auditions at Essaro Ranch Studios on Friday afternoons. Please contact our Production Supervisor at to schedule an audition time.
Female Gymnast Skill Requirements
These Skills are what we have seen in past performers and would like to see again in auditions. If you do not have all these skills, it does not disqualify you. Attitude and Performance are the most important skills for which we are looking.
Standing Skills:
Front and Back Walkovers, Standing Back Handspring, Standing Back Tuck, Series of Back Handsprings
Tumbling Passes:
Front Handsprings, Punch Front, Aerials, Round Off Back Handspring, Round Off Back Handspring, Back Tuck, Back Layout, Layout Step Outs, Fulls, Double Fulls, Double Fronts, Double Back a plus!
Trampoline/Mini Tramp:
Front Tuck, Back Tuck, Brani, Layouts, Twists, Head Under, Back Drop (Multiple skill series, Multiple Twists, and Double Fronts and Double Backs a plus!)
Higher Level Skills previously used by SRO Associates:
Double Backs, Double Fronts, Fliffis, Full-In, Double Full, Triple Full, Rudi . . .
Partnering/Acrobatic Skills:
Gymnast, Acrobats, Adiagio and Cheerleaders who can partner and flyers are a plus! Experience in a harness, on a balance beam and some dance training a PLUS!
*SRO Associates will train acts that include Tramponline Wall (see Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba), Fly Wall (see Cirque du Soleil's Kâ), and partnering.

Front Tuck, Back Tuck, Brani, Layouts, Twists, Head Under, Back Drop (Multiple skill series, Multiple Twists, and Double Fronts and Double Backs a plus!)
Higher Level Skills previously used by SRO Associates:
Double Backs, Double Fronts, Fliffis, Full-In, Double Full, Triple Full, Rudi . . .
Partnering/Acrobatic Skills:
Gymnasts, Acrobats, and Cheerleaders who can double as strong bases and Flyers with experience in Dance Lifts, Acrobatic Gymnastics, and Cheer Stunting a plus!

Male & Female Dancer Requirements
We are looking for strong technically trained dancers who are comfortable in all disciplines. Tumbling and aerial work a plus.
Dancers should be prepared to learn a ballet combination and a jazz combination. Each combination will show leaps, double pirouettes and flexibility elements. Dancers should also be prepared to show a 1 minute combo of their choice of style!
Technique is needed, performance is required!
Dancer Requirements
1 minute jazz combination complete with leaps, turns and performance.
1 Ballet combination consisting of:
- Arabesque
- Develope'
- Double pirouettes
- Pique turns across the floor
- Grand jetes, both sides
16 bars of your best song.
Any gymnastic skills.
Please include a brief combination of any styles that you would like considered: tap, hip-hop, contemporary etc.
Special additions: juggling, extreme pogo, skateboarding, contortion, etc ...
Tips for Auditions
- Please be prepared, warmed up and ready when you are called. Auditions will be held on a first come, first served basis and in a timely manner.
- Please bring a recent headshot and resume with current contact information.
- Please review the age, availability, transportation, and skill set requirements before auditioning.
- Please review the audition material requirements (each discipline has a list). If you are asked to audition with a monologue, please come prepared with a monologue.
- If you plan to audition with a musical number, please bring the sheet music or a backing track on CD.
- Please do not email or call us after your audition. Everyone will be contacted either by phone, e-mail or letter.
